Concept2 RowErg Air Rower

The Concept2 RowErg is the machine you'll find in almost every Australian rowing club, now sized up for the garage or spare room. Its flywheel uses air resistance that scales with your effort, so it suits everyone from a first-timer to a competitive rower training through winter. The frame separates into two pieces for storage under a bed or against a wall, and at 2.24 m long you'll want at least that much clear floor plus pull space behind the handle. Delivery is via two boxes through a standard front door; allow 30 minutes to bolt it together with the included tools. The PM5 monitor tracks pace, watts and calories, and connects to training apps over Bluetooth. Ceiling height only needs to clear your head while seated, so it works in low garages where upright cardio gear won't fit.
